She faced many challenges along the way, but has remained committed to her dreams of completing her degree, building her own business, becoming financially stable, and giving back to her community. Evelyn is going to school full-time and is gaining the skills she needs, on the side, to start a nail art studio where she can not only flourish in a trade she loves, but also empower young women who have aged out with the opportunity for stable work and mentorship.
