Karma is dreaming of new tires for her car. Fulfilling this dream will allow her to replace her current balding tires with ones that are roadworthy and safe.
Karma entered foster care when she was a young teenager and was moved around from place to place until she recently aged out. Now, at eighteen, she’s on her own, struggling to find resources for the basic necessities of life. She shared, “when I aged out, my joy for life significantly decreased.” As she faces the challenges of managing life on her own, though, she is discovering a strength of will and positive mindset that is carrying her through and giving her the energy to work towards her goals. Karma is working on completing her GED with dreams of attending college to become a veterinarian. She has loved animals since she was a young child, and wants to build a career that focuses on caring for them.
Every boost of support that Karma gets will bring her one step closer to achieving the goals she has for herself. With a reliable car, the road to her goals is paved with hope!
