Elianna is dreaming of a laptop for school. Fulfilling this dream will keep her on track with her goal to pursue a master’s degree in social work.
Elianna was placed in foster care when she was seven years old. She has been on her own for a year now and is doing everything she can to build a life of meaning and purpose. She has felt the insecurity of being an aged-out youth, trying to navigate the resources that are available to her, while remaining dedicated to her educational goals. It hasn’t been easy, but with vision and deep motivation, she is making it happen. She is currently working on her associate’s degree with plans to transition to a 4-year college. From there, she dreams of progressing to grad school to get her master’s degree in social work or going to law school to pursue the path of youth advocacy.
Elianna is passionate about making life better for the next generation of youth impacted by the system. Everything that she’s working towards in school is for the goal of being a more well-equipped advocate. With a functional laptop, all of her dreams are within reach!
