Dazanea was born into the system and aged out at 18 with very little guidance and support. Determined to beat the odds, she enrolled in school and got a job at a career placement agency, where she helps many aged-out youth with stories similar to hers. Dazanea is passionate about helping foster youth and is working hard to take care of her daily needs and finish her undergraduate degree.
Her friends describe her as “heartfelt,” and with that quality, she hopes to make a real difference in the lives of others.
