Claire is dreaming of a sewing machine. Fulfilling this dream is the key to unlocking her creativity and building her own clothing line.
Claire entered the foster system as a young teen and struggled to find her footing as she aged out with little support. She is working on getting her GED and ultimately would love to realize her goal of attending Art School. Until she has the financial stability for that step, she wants to activate her creativity and love for design by developing her own clothing line. She has a file of unique designs, but hasn’t had the right tools to bring them to life. Claire is hoping that with a sewing machine in hand and the money to get fabric and other materials, she’ll be able to start a small business, selling what she creates.
