Michael is dreaming of earning his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and needs some workspace essentials such as a study lamp, a portable power bank, and an ergonomic laptop cooling and adjustable stand to support his academic success. These practical tools would help him create a comfortable and productive study environment, stay connected and prepared during long days of classes and community outreach, and work more efficiently during research and writing assignments.
Michael entered the foster care system as a teenager and aged out in 2026. Since transitioning into independent living, he has worked hard to balance the financial and personal responsibilities of adulthood while pursuing his education. As a first-generation college student, he is navigating the demands of university life while working three part-time jobs focused on supporting foster youth, child welfare advocacy, and mental health awareness. Through these roles, he is already making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Currently pursuing his degree in Political Science, Michael hopes to build a career in international relations and eventually serve as a representative at the United Nations. His passion is rooted in his own experiences and his desire to advocate for foster youth and marginalized communities around the world. He hopes to influence global policy, advance human rights, and help create systems that provide greater opportunities and support for vulnerable young people.
Fulfilling this dream would provide Michael with essential tools to support his education and continue developing the knowledge and skills needed to reach his ambitious goals. With the support of our community, Michael can remain focused on his studies, strengthen his voice as an advocate, and continue turning his experiences into meaningful change for others—one step closer to making a difference on the global stage.
