Rudi is dreaming of continuing to grow her baking and culinary skills as a way to create additional income while preparing for the arrival of her newborn. She is in need of a baby monitor and essential support to help her balance motherhood, work, and her goals. A reliable baby monitor would allow Rudi to keep an eye on her baby while she is in the kitchen cooking and creating cakes for customers, giving her greater peace of mind as she continues building toward a more stable future.
Rudi is a previous Dream Makers recipient who received a set of cooking knives. She continues to treasure and use them in her culinary work, including when she makes cakes for customers. Although her baking business is still small, Rudi hopes to continue developing her skills and eventually grow her passion for cooking and baking into a more sustainable source of income.
After spending eight years in foster care, Rudi has worked hard to create stability for herself. She serves as a Youth Action Board member, where she helps advocate for solutions that support homeless youth.
As Rudi prepares to become a new mother, she is focused on taking things one step at a time and creating a more positive future. A baby monitor would give her the ability to care for her newborn while continuing to bake, work, and pursue her goals with greater confidence.
