Through the countless hardships and challenges of aging out of foster care, Marvetta has remained positive, resilient, and ambitious. Her motto is, “If I am able, I will.” Choosing to live with that perspective has paved the way for meaningful growth in her life, and although she is not yet where she wants to be, she is determined to achieve her goals no matter what. Marvetta longs to build a life of stability and purpose. Beyond her future career in medical billing, she is passionate about being involved in the lives of foster youth, giving back, and offering them the kind of support and care she knows they need.
