Ebonie
Because someone chose to show up for a young person aging out of foster care, Ebonie now has the laptop she needs to complete her bachelor’s degree in deaf studies and continue pursuing her dream of becoming an ASL Interpreter.
After entering foster care at a very young age and aging out without support or guidance, Ebonie worked tirelessly to build a different future for herself. She became part of the just 3% of foster youth who graduate from college, a milestone made even more meaningful by the community that believed in her along the way.
For Ebonie, this support means having the tools to finish school, continue her education, and move one step closer toward a meaningful career serving the deaf community.
“I’m so incredibly thankful that they have helped me get closer to accomplishing my goals!”
There are so many more young people like Ebonie still waiting for someone to believe in them. From transportation to school supplies to career support, each dream on our site represents a real person working hard to create stability and opportunity after foster care.
