Zadiany is dreaming of furniture to help make her first apartment feel like home. Fulfilling this dream will afford her essential furnishings that will provide comfort, stability, and a sense of belonging in her first apartment.
Personal tragedy forced Zadiany into foster care at 15. She lost her father and had no other family to take her in. Extenuating mental health challenges made an already hard situation even harder, and she struggled for many years without support or guidance. Zadiany’s challenges haven’t extinguished her hope, though, and despite the obstacles, she remains resilient, caring, and committed to creating a stable life for herself.
She currently works full-time as a medical assistant at a residential substance abuse facility, where she brings compassion, responsibility, and dedication to her work every day. Her career dream is to become a Registered Nurse and serve the vulnerable.
With the support of our community, Zadiany will receive the furniture she needs to turn her apartment into a welcoming, functional space—a place to rest, recharge, and continue moving forward with confidence.
