Stephany is dreaming of an iPad to support her as she pursues her Master of Social Work degree. Fulfilling this dream will help her stay organized, complete coursework, and manage the demands of both classes and fieldwork.
Stephany entered foster care as a young teen and aged out at 18. She is working to build stability and independence while facing challenges including financial hardship, housing instability, and periods of homelessness during her undergraduate studies. Despite this, she remains committed to achieving her goals.
She currently works full-time as a behavioral interventionist supporting students with autism and behavioral needs while attending graduate school. Her long-term goal is to become a social worker and serve children and youth in the foster care system.
