Precious is dreaming of new clothes. Fulfilling this dream will give her the chance to add much needed items to her professional wardrobe.
Precious spent her entire life in foster care. From the time she was an infant, to the day she aged out, all she has known is the constancy of transition and change. Longing for a sense of stability, she enrolled in a four year university and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in psychology. She not only graduated, but was honored at her commencement by being given the opportunity to speak on behalf of her graduating class. Precious plans to continue her education and get her masters in marriage and family therapy so that she can be a healing presence in the lives of those who have experienced trauma.
Precious has worked so hard to get where she is. With the gift of new clothes, she’ll be able to represent on the outside the strength and beauty she’s built on the inside.
