After aging out of foster care, Ov’Var’Shia stepped into adulthood carrying significant responsibility and determination. She has navigated financial instability and life’s challenges with resilience, remaining focused on building stability and long-term success despite the obstacles she has encountered.
Ov’Var’Shia holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and currently works in early childhood education while seeking opportunities aligned with her long-term goals. She plans to work in public policy as a macro social worker, advocating for youth with lived experience and using her voice to influence meaningful systems change. Recognized for her leadership and community impact, she is intelligent, empathetic, and deeply committed to service.
