Michael is dreaming of a laptop that can fully support his coursework as a data analytics major. Fulfilling this dream will give him the ability to code in Python, analyze data, attend online classes, and complete assignments efficiently—ensuring he stays on track academically.
Michael entered foster care at seventeen, but had been taking care of himself since he was just 15 years old. He had to learn independence at an early age. Without consistent family support, he has had to balance housing, finances, school, and work on his own. While the responsibility has been challenging, it has shaped him into someone disciplined, thoughtful, and determined to build long-term stability.
Michael is currently enrolled in college while working part-time in a role that strengthens his skills in data entry and analytics. Recognized throughout his life for excellent academics, he has been named to the Dean’s List in college, and is committed to building a career in data analytics where he can use technology to solve real-world problems and create a stable, successful future.
