Takeyer is dreaming of building a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and needs comfortable shoes and uniform essentials to help her take the next step toward her career in healthcare. As a CNA, she will spend long hours on her feet caring for others, making comfortable, supportive shoes and proper uniform items as important tools as she begins this new chapter.
Takeyer spent 10 years in foster care, entering the system at age 12 and remaining there until she aged out at 22. Growing up without the support of a stable family system brought many challenges, but Takeyer has continued to persevere and create a future for herself. Her experiences have helped shape her into a compassionate and caring person who has a strong desire to help others.
Takeyer has already worked hard toward her dream, earning her Certified Nurse Aide certification as well as her BLS and First Aid certifications. She hopes to continue her education and eventually become a Certified Medical Assistant. While preparing for her career in healthcare, she currently works part-time as a security guard and continues to take steps toward building a stable and fulfilling future.
Serving others is already an important part of who Takeyer is. She is actively involved in her church and enjoys giving back to her community through school events, holiday toy drives, Thanksgiving giveaways, and other opportunities to help those around her. Her caring heart and willingness to serve others are qualities that she hopes to bring into her future career.
Support with comfortable shoes and uniform essentials would give Takeyer the practical items she needs to feel prepared and confident as she pursues her career in healthcare. Fulfilling this dream would be a meaningful reminder that the hard work she has put into creating a better future is seen and supported.
