Juanita entered foster care as a teen and aged out into instability, navigating the challenges of life on her own with no one to lean on. It seemed every step forward was followed by two steps backward, and in her own words, she lost faith because she wasn’t getting anywhere.
Juanita is passionate about becoming a nurse and pursuing a career that gives her financial stability and purpose. The first step for her is completing a CNA program, so that she can have a consistent job while going to school to become an RN. She has her path in view and is reaching out for the kind of support she never had- support that believes in what she’s capable of and gets behind her dreams.
