Jennifer is dreaming of car payment assistance. Fulfilling this dream will allow her to maintain reliable transportation while continuing her work supporting students and foster youth through mental health services.
Jennifer entered the foster care system as a teenager and aged out at eighteen. Despite experiencing significant instability growing up, she has remained deeply committed to her education and future. She has earned her bachelor’s degree, completed her Master of Social Work program, and finished a clinical fellowship, all while navigating life without a stable family support system.
Today, Jennifer works as a mental health therapist and clinical social worker supporting college students, including foster youth. She is passionate about helping others feel seen, supported, and empowered, using both her professional training and lived experience to make a meaningful impact in her community.
Jennifer is incredibly resilient, compassionate, and determined. With the support of our community, she will be able to remain focused on helping other former foster youth find a positive path forward.
