Jaida is dreaming of a digital camera. Fulfilling this dream will help her pursue a career in professional videography and editing and take the first steps toward building her own creative business.
Jaida spent four years in the foster care system and has been on her own for the past two years, navigating adulthood without consistent support. Since aging out, she has faced significant personal and systemic challenges, including housing instability, loss, legal hurdles, and learning to access resources on her own—all while continuing to move forward with determination.
Jaida works full-time in security while focusing on surviving, stabilizing her life, and laying the groundwork for her creative future. She is deeply artistic and expressive, spending her free time drawing, filming, journaling, and developing ideas for the productions she hopes to bring to life. Those who know her describe her as creative, selfless, and deeply empathetic, with a strong desire to uplift others through her work.
Jaida has dreamt of a career in editing and videography since she was a child, and with the support of our community, she will be able to bring her vision to life!
