Jada’s Dream
Jada is dreaming of household items that will help her set up a safe and stable home. Fulfilling this dream will provide her with the resources she needs to invest in a space she’s proud of, while also giving her the security to continue pursuing the future she hopes for.
Jada entered foster care when she was in middle school and aged out, having to navigate independent life on her own. She faced many challenges, but said, “Instead of giving up, I kept going, and I’ve used every obstacle as motivation to push forward.” Jada currently works as a personal care assistant to the elderly and is in school to get her associate's degree in nursing. Her ultimate goal is to become a registered labor and delivery nurse who brings care, comfort, and strength to others. Jada has been through so much, but she is committed to doing whatever it takes to build a flourishing future where her work is meaningful, her home is stable, and her life is full of love, joy, and peace.
