Hawa's Dream
Hawa is dreaming of becoming a Nurse Practitioner and needs an iPad to support her as she begins her college journey. Having a reliable device would give her the tools she needs to take notes, complete assignments, access course materials, study, and stay organized as she works toward her long-term goal in healthcare.
At 19, Hawa has recently started college classes and is committed to building a strong educational foundation for her future. Her ultimate goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner so she can develop a career centered on caring for and helping others.
Hawa is already working part time while starting college. Balancing work and school will require dedication and organization, and an iPad would provide her with a versatile tool she can use both inside and outside the classroom. It would allow her to access digital textbooks, complete coursework, take notes, research, and stay connected to her professors and academic responsibilities.
After spending two years in foster care, Hawa is making another major step toward independence. Hawa describes herself as hardworking, respectful, caring, and someone who genuinely wants others to know that she cares about them. She is especially proud of earning her diploma with a 4.0 GPA, an accomplishment that reflects her dedication to her education and her ability to set and achieve ambitious goals.
Fulfilling Hawa’s dream would give her a valuable resource as she begins college and works toward becoming a Nurse Practitioner. An iPad would be more than a piece of technology—it would be a tool supporting her education, organization, and preparation for a career in which she hopes to make a difference in the lives of others. With the right support, Hawa can continue building on her academic success and take confident steps toward the future she is working so hard to achieve.
