Emiliana is dreaming of reliable transportation support to help her stay connected to school, work, and essential daily needs. Fulfilling this dream will allow her to get to classes, continue serving youth through her volunteer work, and navigate daily responsibilities with greater stability and consistency.
Emiliana has been in the foster care system since she was six years old and has been on her own since aging out at 18. Aging out of care meant stepping into adulthood without a safety net, and she has faced ongoing challenges related to housing stability, food access, and reliably getting to work and school.
Currently, Emiliana is enrolled in school and volunteers part-time supporting children with mental health needs—work that reflects her deep care for others and her desire to make a positive impact. Her long-term vision is to become a businesswoman and use her experiences to help youth feel safe, supported, and empowered.
