Delyla is dreaming of a laptop to support her schoolwork as she begins her journey toward becoming an EMT. Fulfilling this dream will help her stay organized, complete assignments, and keep up with the demands of her training.
Delyla was placed in foster care when she was a baby and spent her whole life in the system until aging out at 18. Her transition into independence was hard, without anyone to turn to for guidance or support. Despite the challenges, she is determined to reset, refocus, and move forward with purpose.
Today, Delyla is enrolled in college and working to create a stable career in the medical field. As she settles into her new apartment and this next chapter, she is committed to staying on track, growing, and reaching her goals.
