Dejhonnae is dreaming of an electric bike to help her get to and from work, school, and daily responsibilities. Fulfilling this dream will provide her with greater independence and stability as she continues working full time and managing her day-to-day needs.
Dejhonnae entered foster care at a young age and remained in the system until she aged out at 18. Since transitioning into adulthood, she has had to navigate life without consistent family support, facing challenges such as periods of housing instability and the difficulty of building long-term stability without reliable transportation or a strong safety net. Despite these obstacles, she remains focused on personal growth and making positive changes in her life.
She currently works full-time in warehouse operations and attends cosmetology school. She is committed to maintaining steady employment and working hard in school so that she can build a strong foundation for her future. Dejhonnae’s ultimate dream is to open her own hair and beauty business, where she can invest her time and talents in something she’s truly passionate about.
