Dream Share is an opportunity for the community to come together to support youth!
De’Asia is dreaming of a professional-grade espresso machine and grinder to bring The Foster Bean, her mobile coffee trailer, to life. Fulfilling this dream will give her the tools needed to launch a business that creates opportunity and stability for herself and other aged-out youth.
After spending much of her childhood in foster care, De’Asia aged out of the system, having no one to turn to for help navigating adulthood. Everything from housing to employment to education was on her to figure out. Though the challenges were significant, De’Asia faced them with determination and grit, allowing her experiences to shape her resilience and inspire her creativity.
Today, De’Asia is working full-time while building The Foster Bean from the ground up. Her vision is to create a space that provides employment, mentorship, and encouragement for young people transitioning out of foster care while she continues pursuing her long-term goals in advocacy and law.
De’Asia is a driven, compassionate, and deeply purposeful young woman—someone who turns challenges into vision. With the support of our community, she will have the equipment she needs to fulfill her mobile coffee shop dream and create a lasting impact for those she hopes to serve.
