Crystal is dreaming of an iPad. Fulfilling this dream will provide her with a reliable tool to support her work, education, and advocacy efforts as she continues building a stable and meaningful future.
Crystal entered foster care at fifteen after losing her mother to cancer and remained in care until she aged out at eighteen. Despite experiencing multiple placements and navigating adulthood without a support system, she has remained determined to build a different future for herself. Since aging out, Crystal has earned both her bachelor’s degree in accounting and her master’s degree in business administration while continuing to grow as a leader and advocate for foster youth.
Today, Crystal works as a high school educator while continuing her education and advocacy work at both the state and national levels. Her resilience, compassion, and determination are reflected in the way she continues to uplift others while building stability for herself.
With the support of our community, Crystal will receive a tool that strengthens both her professional goals and the impact she continues to make in the lives of others.
