Boris' Dream
Boris is dreaming of an electric bike. Fulfilling this dream will give him the transportation he needs to get to his job and two internships this summer.
Boris faced many obstacles when he aged out of the foster care system, but he has found the strength to persevere, focus on his goals, and set himself up for great opportunities. This spring he graduated with his associate’s degree and will pursue his bachelor’s at a four-year university this fall. He was also accepted into two internships this summer in the TV and film production and storytelling industries. With humor and deep faith as companions, he is working towards a life where finances aren’t a source of stress, and he can focus his energy on giving back to the community. He’s passionate about serving people on the margins of society and sees his engagement with those populations as a significant part of his future.
