Ashley is dreaming of household essentials for her first apartment. Fulfilling this dream will help create a more organized, functional home and bring peace of mind during a season of transition.
Ashley spent 7 years in foster care and stepped into independence alone at 18. She said the hardest part of aging out was having no one to turn to when things went wrong. Even a flat tire becomes a big challenge when you don’t have anyone to turn to. Despite the challenges, Ashley has moved forward with unstoppable determination, graduating with honors and working as a paralegal at a large law firm.
Recently, her firm downsized, and Ashley was laid off. She quickly pivoted and got her credentials to be an independent notary signing agent. Currently, Ashley is taking notary jobs, pursuing additional schooling, and parenting her 6-month-old identical twin daughters. Her plate is full, but she is resolved to provide for her daughters the love and support she never had.
Ashley is determined, motivated, and always striving to learn—someone who continues to move forward no matter the challenge. With the support of our community, she will have what she needs to create a safe, supportive space for her family to thrive.
