Dolores is dreaming of becoming a chef and needs a stand mixer and other essential resources to help her continue developing her culinary skills. As a culinary student, Dolores loves creating dishes for herself, friends, and her community. A stand mixer would help her practice new recipes, strengthen her baking skills, and continue exploring her passion as she works toward a future in the culinary industry.
Dolores spent two and a half years in foster care and has been navigating independent living since aging out of the system. She works hard to balance college, two part-time jobs, and the responsibilities of building a stable future, often without family support. Managing so many responsibilities can be overwhelming, but Dolores continues to persevere and work toward her goals with determination and resilience.
Currently attending college and working toward graduating in 2028, Dolores is determined to turn her love of cooking into a career. Her culinary department has recognized her talent, and she hopes to become a chef who inspires others and serves as a positive role model in her community. She is also involved in her church, where she finds encouragement, connection, and support as she navigates the challenges of young adulthood.
Fulfilling this dream would give Dolores the tools to continue learning, growing, and pursuing a career she genuinely loves. Additional kitchen essentials would further support her culinary education and allow her to practice new techniques at home.
