Allison is dreaming of becoming a licensed social worker and needs support to take the ASWB Exam and purchase professional clothing for her new career. After graduating earlier this year, she is ready to put her education and passion for helping others into action. While the exam is an important final step toward beginning her career, Allison also needs appropriate professional attire as she prepares to enter the workforce.
Allison entered foster care at 16 and aged out at 21. Since then, she has worked hard to navigate adulthood independently while building a meaningful future. Her goal is to help people facing challenges that can feel impossible to navigate alone, offering the compassion, guidance, and advocacy she knows can make a difference.
Allison is also a creative entrepreneur with a small jewelry business that Dream Makers has previously supported. She hopes to continue growing her business while pursuing her career in social work.
Supporting Allison’s dream would help equip her for this exciting new chapter, from completing the licensing exam to having the professional clothing she needs to step into her career with confidence.
