Alexis has big dreams and is on the verge of taking a major step towards achieving them! She was placed in foster care at the end of elementary school, and through hard work and dedication, blossomed in high school as an academic leader, winning several academic awards, including top honors at her high school graduation. She was also awarded a full-ride scholarship to college through a national organization whose mission is to give high-achieving students with significant financial need a chance to attend our country’s most prestigious universities. Alexis’s dream is to be a leader and advocate who brings lasting change to the foster care system in the United States.
