After aging out of foster care at 18, Isabelle faced life’s challenges head-on, but she never let her circumstances define her. Today, she’s balancing part-time work and university as she pursues her dream of becoming a social worker.

Thanks to the support of Dream Makers like you, Isabelle’s dream of tuition assistance was fulfilled, helping her take the final steps toward graduation and making it a reality for her to be part of the less than 5% of foster youth to accomplish this milestone. One day, she hopes to not only help others as a case worker but also inspire future social workers as a university professor.

“I didn’t let the circumstances I was born in define me or control my life direction,” Isabelle shares.

In her free time, she loves working out, cooking, and drawing—continuing to grow, thrive, and chase her dreams.
